Today's Thought

Good Morning Friend's
Oh my it's been a while !! I know I seem to start every post out like this :) Oh there are so many things going on in my LIFE right now,I just need to breath. I just wanted to share with you a bit of news. This morning I received a phone call that my Aunt has died. We really don't know the cause of death.

You know it really make you start to THINK??? How short this life is and you ONLY get one chance. My pastor use to say ALL the time this is not a Dress Rehearsal! It's the real deal,just one shot!! Life is only what you make. How we response to situation in our LIFE'S can determine our JOY&PEACE!!

So Today on purpose I going to LIVE and just not be ALIVE!! Smell the crisp cold air,take pleasure in bringing a smile to someone face!! Remember tomorrow is not promise to you!! Call a friend, tell your kids you love them,be kind to that annoy co-worker!!

My Stormy told me what his teacher taught him" Momma do you know what Love is" ? Mrs Weiers said
" Love is Patient and Kind" Yeah!! WOW and you know the kid is right!! Today Live,Love.Laugh and even Cry if you need too!! Just enjoy your journey!!!

It T'was was Very Merry Christmas!!

Hello My Friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! May the New Year bring blessing and Peace to you and your family!! Well it T'was a very Merry Christmas in the Knight house Baby!! Yes, I was so excited when I open my gift!!

First, let me tell you I have been LUSTING after this baby for a looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggg time!! Really I always tell my husband I just might Love my Canon just a bit more!! LOL!! My camera of choice is Canon I just love my result when shooting with this BABY!!! I just might be committing adultery with this beautiful black man! Oh no I mean camera yea that's it!! LOL Anyway let me stop I getting All worked up!! ;)

Well My Daddy aka Hubby came through BIG time for me this year!! Look at my new Baby, Not sure what I will call  him yet!!

Yes my new Digital Canon T2i!! Yes I am screaming very LOUD!!! I was super happy all day!! You know I must say, I was certainly was not thinking about the kids after I ripped this Baby open!! This camera is truly Amazing I cannot wait to learn, play, and discover my new TOY!!! I hope you all were as, happy on Christmas morning !!

Hello Friends

Hello Everyone it has been a while!! Blogger MIA aka Chalese Knight!!! Well you know how it is with the holidays LIFE get super busy!! I must say it is a fun busy shopping and thinking of others always make my heart smile!!

Many of you know I live in the North Pole aka Minnesota!! OMGoodness we got  dumped on Saturday with over 16 inches of snow!! Yes a mecca portion of the good ol'white stuff!! Our temp are expected to drop to dangerously low levels feeling like -40 close your mouths people!! I ask myself after 20+ years WHY DO YOU LIVE HERE??? Still I have not come up with a good reason to leave LOL!!

So today will be a crafty day sipping on a nice warm soy latte with pretty paper and my mind in Idea Central !!! I leave you with creation I did for the Bug Magazine!! Although these were not chose they did like one of my creation and will be feature in March/April magazine!! If you love your bug like I do this magazine will be a must buy!! Appreciate the small things

Hi Everyone
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Well here in Minnesota it has been icy and cold!! The roads are super bad !! Went to dinner last night and it liberally took us 3 hours to get home!! We thanked God all the way home. I first thought the hubby was exaggerating a bit about the roads!!! He was telling the TRUTH and nothing but!! I have never seen my hubby scared... Last night he was and so was I! Being in that kinda of situation makes you think and reflect! We take so many things for granted?? Well today I going to embrace and appreciate the small thing in life!! I leave you with a sweet layout I did of my dear friend Theresa, really love this lady and all she has brought into my LIFE!!!!

Toot Toot Great News

I received the best e-mail last night!! Okay remember I told you all how bummed I was because I missed the deadline for the Scrap of Color DT call???? Well I  e-mailed SOC team and asked if I could still send in my work!! The team had already been chosen.. :( But they said send it in anyway, you never know!!! THANK YOU JESUS!! Because you are now looking at (well not physically) the Creative Team member for Scrap of Color E:spire!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This really mean alot to me!! This site is dedicated to women of color and I appreciate that!! So many wonderful talented women!! It is nice to see yourself represented !! I am like super happy this morning!!
